in April, St. James participates in this national program providing a day of hands-on service to rehab homes, schools, and organizations serving people in need.
we gather for food and fun throughout the year, including our annual Mardi Gras Pancake Supper and summer Gourmet Camping trip.
on the first weekend in November, we offer a relaxing and fun retreat weekend for all ages at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg.
choirs for adults and children enrich our worship on Sundays and major feast days. Volunteer singers are welcome to participate.

we offer a Sunday school program at 10 am for grade school age kids, combining storytelling, art and music. Nursery care is available for little ones. Fun events for families with children are offered throughout the year.
St. James Women’s Circle meets monthly on various Saturdays at 10 am, offering topical discussions on a variety of themes related to spirituality.
Each second Sunday of the month a team from St. James helps prepare a nutritious meal for several hundred people at St. Martin de Porres. Martin’s, as it is affectionately known, is a free restaurant inspired by the Catholic Worker Movement operated 100 percent by volunteers since it opened in 1971.
