St. James volunteers work with this local agency providing services and referral information to our unhoused neighbors in the Richmond.
Rebuilding Together
in April, St. James participates in this national program providing a day of hands-on service to rehab homes, schools, and organizations serving people in need.
Parish Life Events
we gather for food and fun throughout the year, including our annual Mardi Gras Pancake Supper and summer Gourmet Camping trip.
St. James Parish Weekend
on the first weekend in November, we offer a relaxing and fun retreat weekend for all ages at the Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg.
Music Program
choirs for adults and children enrich our worship on Sundays and major feast days. Volunteer singers are welcome to participate.
Adult Education Program
we offer ongoing prayer, meditation groups, and bible study groups, as well as occasional courses and workshops on topics of interest related to faith and life.
Children’s Program
we offer a Sunday school program at 10 am for grade school age kids, combining storytelling, art and music. Nursery care is available for little ones. Fun events for families with children are offered throughout the year.
8 A.M Sunday Morning Worship
This is a smaller celebration of the Holy Eucharist with a more contemplative feel. We gather in the Parish Hall for a light breakfast and conversation afterwards. Currently, this service meets in person and on Zoom.
10 A.M. Sunday Morning Worship With Music
This is a Choral Eucharist featuring St. James’ adult and children’s choirs. It is a larger celebration. Child care is available (but not required) in the nursery for infants and toddlers, and Sunday School for kids is offered during the service (Sept. – May).
