Sunday, August 6, 10 a.m.

vince1

After six years of dedicated service, the Rev. Vince Jang's tenure as parish deacon at St. James is coming to an end. Deacon Vince is retiring and his last Sunday at St. James will be August 6, the Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please join us to say "good-bye" to Deacon Vince and honor his ministry with us at a festive reception following the 10 a.m. liturgy. Please contact Tracey Thomas if you would like to volunteer to assist with the reception.

Gifts in honor of Deacon Vince's ministry will be directed to the St. Martin de Porres' food program. Checks may be made payable to "St. James" with the note "Deacon Vince." We will then send a check for the total of the contributions to St. Martin's.

We are offering a new curriculum for school age children on Sunday mornings, with an enhanced art and music component, as well as providing child care for infants and toddlers.
